Subscription Terms

1. Subscription Overview

Covennt operates on a monthly subscription model. One subscription covers both spouses in a marriage. The current subscription price is $14.99 per month, payable in advance.

2. Payment Processing

Payments for Covennt subscriptions are processed by:

  • Apple App Store: For iOS users, payments are processed through your Apple ID account
  • Google Play Store: For Android users, payments are processed through your Google Play account

Covennt does not directly process payment information. All payment transactions are handled securely by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective terms and privacy policies.

3. Auto-Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Automatic renewal of your subscription
  • Automatic charging of the subscription fee to your payment method on file
  • Continued access to the Service for the duration of your active subscription

You will be notified of upcoming renewals through your device's app store, and the renewal charge will appear on your payment method statement.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Covennt → Cancel Subscription
  • Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions → Covennt → Cancel

Important cancellation information:

  • Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before the end of your current billing period
  • You will continue to have access to the Service until the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds will be provided for the current billing period after cancellation
  • After cancellation, your subscription will not renew, and access will end at the conclusion of your paid period

5. Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. If we increase the price of your subscription, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. The new price will apply to your next billing cycle. If you do not agree to the price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

6. Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However:

  • Refund requests are handled by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android) in accordance with their refund policies
  • You may be eligible for a refund if required by applicable consumer protection laws
  • If you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the Service, please contact support for assistance

7. Free Trial

If we offer a free trial period, it will be clearly disclosed at the time of sign-up. At the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial period ends. You will be notified before the trial ends and before any charges are applied.

8. Subscription Coverage

One subscription covers both spouses in a marriage. When you subscribe, both you and your linked spouse will have full access to all features of Covennt. You do not need separate subscriptions for each spouse.

9. Service Availability

While we strive to provide continuous access to the Service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. No refunds or credits will be provided for temporary service interruptions.

10. Account Termination

If your account is terminated for violation of our Terms of Service, your subscription will be cancelled immediately without refund. You may also cancel your subscription at any time as described in Section 4.

11. Changes to Subscription Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Subscription Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to you through the app or via email at least 30 days in advance. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
